All data — including your settings, daily progress, and reminder state — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API:

Extension Permissions

Permissions requested by EyePause are used solely to enable its core functionality:

• alarms— to schedule break reminders at your configured interval
• notifications— to display desktop break reminders (if enabled by you)
• storage— to save your settings and daily progress locally on your device

No permission is used to access, read, or transmit your browsing data.

Children's Privacy

EyePause does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
